Default Electric Side Steps?

Hi all,

I have been looking for electric side steps that aren't a whole long nerf style. I want them to be individual. Just a small step that comes down only at the drivers door if I open it, same with the rear doors. Anyone seen these? The only kind I can find are the full length ones.

Thanks

That is what I keep finding. And they are very pricey. I swore I saw them somewhere but I don't remember what vehicle it was for. Maybe I should invent them.....ha

I have AMP steps on my truck, but they are the full-length steps. I know that AMP makes them for several other trucks, SUV's and Jeeps. I also know they make a single step for the bed of a truck. That could probably be relocated with enough know-how.

AMP is the only real brand I know of that makes these. My buddy has them on his 2011 2500 CTD with a 4" lift and getting in and out is easy with those. I would love to get some myself but the price tag is just too much

true on the single step, but it's not power.

you could probably hack away at the full length boards to get size you want. Kinda defeats the purpose of spending all that dough, but if cost isn't huge factor it may work. Not sure if load rating would br greatly affected.

Did not know the single step was not powered. OK, scratch that one, then...

I've had these things on the truck since 2007, or so, and they are easily the best and most practical (for me) mod I've done. Definitely earned their worth since I've had them.
