Thats a clean looking grill. What the orange lights in the front?

I have the good old homemade mesh guttah grill. I put a clear coat on it is all. Throwing around the idea of painting it black, but I don't want it to look like an "empty" black space in my grill. Here are a couple pics:

 

I like that. I have the chrome bars, and I really don't like them. I'm probably the only one in the world who would have rathered the black honeycomb grille, but with the sport appearance package comes the chrome bars...

I've thought about doing the mesh and painting it, as well. Not sure how the black would contrast with my silver truck, though.

 

Definately want to paint the grill frame and bug guard black on mine...Also want to do the black rims....

 

chet, i also have the silver bars and want the black honeycomb. luckily my buddy wants my grill and i want his so i think we're gonna swap them out soon.

I have a cheap abs big mouth grille. color matching the shell made a difference imo

Did you use the factory honeycomb behind it?
