Any ideas on the grill I should get? Im having a hard time deciding. I like the mesh grill with the bolts going around the outside but I dont want to lose the cross in the middle and dont really like the look. I saw one on a truck one time that was mesh with the bolts and it still had the cross it was like a 4 piece grill. Anyone know where to find it? Ive looked everywhere online and havent found it yet. Black, chrome, better yet black chrome honeycomb grille my preference on a ram.

 

Hmmm... I've been considering doing something to mine too. My thought was to do a guttah grille and then paint it electric blue so it sort of matches my truck... idk though haven't decided yet.

 

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think that would look very, ummm... 1990's.

 

No offense taken, just an idea percolating. I think the stock grille is kinda ugly and have just been thinking of different ideas to do. Any other suggestions? It's a bit down the list as far as mod's i'd like to do but maybe some day ill get to it...

I have a custom grill on mine and love it. I did powder coat it myself though.

Thats the exact grill I want that you have weed but I want to a 4 piece one not just 2. Any ideas where to find one? Ive seen them on a truck so I know there out there I just havent been able to find one online

 

Probably because it is custom work, thus not widely avail. Ive never seen anything like that I have but in 4 pcs. I cant even visualize it looking right because the frame (my black part) would be so close to the other side there wouldnt be much grill or mesh part (my silver part)

Ive never seen it online I was just driving down the road and saw it on a truck and I wish I coulda followed him and asked where he got it but I was on my way to work. It had like a h1 or m1 on it which i found that smittybuilt ones have I believe a m1 stamped in the corner but I looked all over and couldnt find that they made it. It was like your top one with the bolts all around the edge but you didnt lose the middle cross they just inserted in between like the stock grill does but it was black mesh with bolts all around it. It looked badass and I dont want to buy a grill until I find it lol. Does that explanation help you visualize it a littler better?
