Bravo on rebuilding it! With all the electrical crap on cars nowadays you can't just take an engine apart like you can on older engines that were mostly mechanical work

And what's the point of making the 4.7? I'd just stick with the hemi or penstar v6.

The Hemi is NOT immune to this, although it's a bit more resistant due to it's pushrod design.
The Pentastar is becoming a nightmare - the valve seats aren't dropping so much as they are seizing to the valve. Dealer's lots are filling up with vehicles awaiting repair for this...

Nice job on rebuilding it. my truck is my daily driver so I would be SOL!
I have never had an over heated engine so I will add this to the 'dodge prayer list'

ugh thanks for the heads up, makes me worry i should have picked the other truck in the lot that had the 5.9 instead lol. ah crap oh well what can you do but go with the flow
