I have one of those hitch covers that have the light up Ram logo on it that plugs into the trailer wiring harness, it's good for keeping dust and stuff off the pins and it looks alright.

Anyways, it worked fine on my dakota but when I unplug the trailer adapter that's mounted on the bumper and plug the hitch cover in, it doesn't seem to work. I've used emery cloth on the connectors to make sure that there is good contact on the pins. But I'm kind of lost. I hope the wiring isn't messed 'cause I have to pull my boat out to the cabin this afternoon. Yikes.
