I'm going out to get parts to do PVC CAI......any specific kind of PVC glue/sealant I should use because the ones I saw all said they are combustible.....lol. Also there is a small rubber hose that plugs into my stock air box, is that a vacuum line or what? Do u need it plugged into new PVC intake? Finally, the air flow sensor, can I just drill a hole in the side of the PVC and silicone seal it into place on the side of the PVC? Or should I use like a rubber grommet from lowes?

I'm gonna be honest with you. I used both PVC glue and super glue and I haven't had a piece break yet. You can take off the long piece of hose and put a little oil filter over the hose. And a rubber grommet would be better than just silicone. I regret not doing that.

What is that rubber hose though? And I got some gasket maker from advanced. Says it safe for use on sensors and it's what the guy there suggested

Hey what did you guys use to connect PVC street elbow to throttle body? I got a 3in to 3in blue spectre coupler but apparently that doesn't fit on a 3in interior diameter PVC pipe So what should I use?

Cut a small section of 3" OD PVC and shove it in the elbow leave just enough length outside the elbow to connect to your boot...

How is small section of PVC going to connect to throttle body thought. That's what I'm asking. And does anyone know the exact diameter of throttle body?
