I'll be honest, have not given my truck much love lately. It's been sitting in the garage for about two months. With the nice weather the scooter gets the nod going to work.

Anyway, a level and new Rancho shocks are on order, new brakes and Cooper Zeon LTZ's as well. After that chunk of change is blown I want to redo the exhaust again, I think. It's on muffler #4. All had good and bad things about them.

I had a used stock muffler installed when I was towing my boat but the boat is gone and I miss the sound the HEMI can put out.

The plan is a Magnaflow Y-pipe, Magnaflow 3" tailpipe and a new muffler. I've been thinking Aero Turbine AT3030XL, but I'm afraid that alone might be alittle too loud? My 05 has no forward resonator and the original rear unit is long gone when I bought it.

U Tube vids have helped......maybe confused me more. Anyway, I don't want a rearward mounted resonator but I would be willing to install one between the Y-pipe and muffler if needed. Any thoughts?

 

I don't know about the muffler you listed, but the rest of the setup seems good. Why not a magnaflow muffler too? They seem to be well liked by everyone who posts up here about them. If you don't have a resonator now, why do you want to put one on? Thinking it will be too loud? I think some of the magnaflows give good sound without too much drone, im sure other brands have em too.

Also by i don't know about the muffler you listed i mean i have no experience with that one, not I don't think it's any good.

 

I have had two on this truck, one small, one big.

I liked the sound, but bad drone. Need to try something different this time.

 

Anyone regret their AT3030XL purchase?
