Default Anyone use Purple Ice?

Hey I'm out in Tx towing a uhaul trailer back to Ga and the temp has been rising up a few. Just did a coolant flush last month and was wondering about "Purple Ice" by Royal purple anyone know about this OR the off brands like it at Wally world?

I put it in my last coolant flush. I haven't noticed any advantages, the temp is the same as before and stays there.

I just poured two bottles in the radiator when I finished rebuilding the engine in my Jeep to see if I could get it to run cooler than the 215* it wants to run at when it's hot out and I am running the A/C - it made about a 5* difference according to my temp gauge. I was hoping to be able to get it down closer to 200* but it's still wanting to run 210'ish.

Although they say that the Purple Ice and Flex Cool really do a good job at lubricating the water pump and extending the life of the seals...

I used 1 bottle. Runs about 5 deg cooler (guessing) Needle used to be dead center. Now runs needle width lower. I did it after new radiator install , fan clutch, T-stat

I just replaced my RAD and added a bottle along with all fresh coolant. I figure it wouldn't hurt. I did see a slight bit of a difference on the temp gauge, but with a new RAD and all new coolant I may have seen that anyway.
