Default Thinking about upgrading, Thoughts?

I was bored at work and starting looking around and these 2 caught my eye.

The Diesel has 160,000 miles though.

The seller of the 1500 has knocked off $1,500 from that price already.

Love diesels but I am really liking that white 1500 with white grill, my uncle has a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 and it's really nice and I love the way they look and the interior plus the one you looking at already has aftermarket CAI

I think the next dodge i buy will be the ctd for sure. 160,000 wouldn't scare me too much, its a great engine. The 1500 looks nice too if you have that much money to spend.

Actually I like the truck you have better than either of the other ones you picked. Why do you want to get rid of it? Looks like you've done a ton of work on it, looks frickin sweet.

Thanks for the compliment Ewing. I love my truck, I just get bored quickly. I never keep trucks longer than 3 years ( except for my 04 dakota ). The gas mileage is really bad in the Mega Cabs and I haven't regeared it yet so it is under powered. I was thinking about keeping it and gearing up, I just haven't gotten around to it. I travel so much that when I am home I don't have time to give up my truck to a shop for a couple days. I really do like the 1500 though. My last truck was a 2001 F350 7.3 liter I bought off my father so I am starting to miss the diesel.

I'm bias because I'm against long beds so I like the 1500 but I also really love CTDs. But I REALLY don't like long beds lol.

So, where's the upgrade? You have a Mega Cab, both of those are smaller. Sure, the diesel is an upgrade, and it's a 5.9 with no emissions crap to worry about, but if you switch, I'd atleast get a Laramie or atleast another Mega, this time a diesel...that's the ONE thing I wish was different on my truck, that it was a Mega Cab. Oh, and it was Electric Blue and a longbed (it's a longbed now, but the Mega wouldn't be).

You guys have some good points, and btw my Mega is a Laramie, fully loaded. Maybe I'll gear up and get a tuner and stick with this beast a while longer.

So you'd be going from a loaded Laramie Mega, to a geeky ST Longbed QuadCab? Keep lookin.. Mega-Laramies are out there... they are hard to find for a reason.

now geeky might be a bit strong, but I agree in general.
