Default Proven Ways to Improve Handling?

Stock '06 4x4 quad cab.
About to put a 2 inch level and replace OEM struts and shocks with Bilsteins.
I'm hoping that will reduce the body roll and diving front end.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Not sure if there's much else you can do without spending big bucks. High performance tires may help depending on what you have. Upgrade your brakes? Be interested to see if anyone has other ideas, haven't seen too many people asking about this, most just want hemi ponies or offroading beastliness.

When it comes to taking out some of the wiggle and that floating feeling, LT tires will be one of your best investments. I had bilsteins on mine before switching out the tires but I didn't see the true benefit of stiffer shocks until I got the new tires. It feels like a lot less roling now that the tires flex a whole lot less.

Hellwig sway bar. Just put one on my 07 quad cab. Huge difference.

Stiffer springs and wider tires for sure. Sway bars help. Raising the center of gravity does not.

Sway bar was what I was going to add also but lowering the truck would also help

Lowering it and getting out of the factory suspension would make a whole world of difference.

One thing i would mention about sway bars, you have to be a little careful if you are looking for a true increase in performance (i.e. better track times or something). A sway bar WILL reduce the body roll in your truck (or car or whatever), but depending on if you've done any other mod's, you may or may not be able to actually get through a corner faster. If your tires are crap for example, a stiffer body can actually reduce the grip you get enough to cancel out or even make worse your performance. If you are doing everything as a total package, shocks, tires, sway bar, lower, etc, then you will probably be happy with it. Just my $.02.

Thanks for the input.
I think I'll look into the sway bar options. Hellwig could be the one to go with.

As for what I'm looking to get out of this...not trying to set any new track time records, and certainly won't be running any cones anytime soon, simply trying to keep my lunch down while driving in town.
I'm starting to get seasick with all the side to side motion. LOL.

A stiffer more grounded ride is all I'm after with less of that floating feeling, and no offense to the guys who like to slam their ride but I do prefer the taller look myself.

I'll send an update once the Bilsteins are in, and then once the sway bar is sorted out.

Cheers.
