Default Denali Style Grill

Decided after hitting a box on the Interstate and breaking the factory grill to go a bit "Custom" with a Denali Style Grill. What do you guys think?

interesting look. Better than stock definitely. I don't like the stock black honeycomb, but I haven't decided what I want to do to it yet.

I just think they are ugly and look kinda cheap. I would much rather have something metal (or even, gulp, chrome dipped) than the black plastic. I guess a least it blends in with the rest of my blacked out truck. I liked it even less when I still had all my chrome showing.

I like it. Where did you get it?

I actually would rather the black honeycomb to the "chrome bar" that my truck has. I think the silver/black contrast would look better than a light/light color combination. I've been contemplating going with the gutter grille mod, but haven't quite steeled myself to the commitment of permanently cutting my old grille out.

Be sure you post some pictures if you do, I've been thinking about doing it too. My biggest hesitation is whether to paint it black then, or do something else. I blacked out the rest of my truck, it'd be weird to put back a SS look.

Got it on e bay (Imagine that). The best thing about it is that it is a heavy gauge stainless. The compression points matched up exactly with the factory ones so it went on easy and quick. Downside is that it was a little spendy...Couple of hundred bucks as I recall.

i hear ya about the black, im going to swap my chrome one with my buddies black honeycomb just for the fact that i blacked out all my emblems and have tint, so i think it will look a lot better. eventually im getting black rims but i have to get the cash together.
