My Gibson sport side duals didn't like my full size 33" spare because one of the pipes was butted against the tire. I wrapped the pipe and that did the trick until the tire rubbed a hole in the wrap. I wrapped it again and it rubbed another hole in no time. I snagged one of my old tires to use as a new spare but before putting it back under the truck, I finally went down to the shop and had them reroute one of my pipes out the other side. Now, all seems to be well - finally.

 

Nice. That's the dual exit that I like best. Mine are angled the same way, but I need to have them refit, as well, since they hang low ever since the body lift. Doesn't change anything, it's just aesthetics.
