Hey guys, I have a Black 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab SLT. In the front I have the 2 bucket seats, with the jump seat in the middle, and the center console. One day I got bored, and decided to cut the lid of the center console to try to make a holder for my iPad. Anyways, it didnt work, and I ended up wasting a perfectly good lid for the center console. I still have this lid, but a lot of the foam is cut out, and the leather is ruined.

Now I want a new jumpseat lid/cover and I cannot find one on ebay for less than $200, and I didn't know if that was the average price, or if I could find it cheaper on like an OEM Dodge Parts Website. I really want a new one of these, but $200 for a leather lid seems outrageous.

Any ideas?

 

What's color interior?

 

Not sure how all that is held on to center console or how hard it might be to get off, but you might be better off buying a piece of 1" foam from hobby lobby, a yard of leather and cutting/stapling it on yourself. Might be worth a try and would probably cost less than $20. You could customize the color then too if you don't want the stock black or whatever your's was.

Interior color is black. Seats are cloth, but that center thing is leather. And yeah, I might try to do the foam thing with the leather, good idea.

Thanks Ewing, I'll look into that one. It just seems like there should be more of these around with all of the Dodge Donor Trucks on eBay.

pick and pull? i have one near me that has about any vehicle from about '99 to 2011. the prices are really cheap, only bad part is, they dont allow torches or anything to cut with...so you kinda gotta sneak them in haha. im sure you could find a new piece for cheap if you go to one, and many other replacement parts for that matter.

 

I'll check out my local junkyard. Anyone else?
