if you're willing to consider a 2003 f250 diesel four door short bed with big honkin' tires and a slight dent in the rear quarter panel, 175 on the clock- PM me.. $12.5k..

i'd drop it if I had it.. it's a good rig to be sure..

i'm not trading mine in for it...I just use my truck as a DD and have no need for it...but for the cost, and maybe the extra profit i could get for adding a plow in the winter, i don't need the diesel. but up for grabs for anyone else!

Wow...I love that truck...and its a 2500 with a lift...I paid close to that for my 2008 1500. not quite that much, but close enough to make me wish this was around my area. I agree, buying with a lift already would be good. But I feel you have to worry about how much it was beaten on and the quality of the lift itself

Well you listed "still has performance". Anything with 8" of lift and 35's is not going to have much in the performance dept. You are definitely going to want gears and with 4wd the cost is double. Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into. I myself have a 1500 Mega Cab that is a good platform for what you are looking for. SFA, 4x4 and is basically a 2500 with different rear springs. I have a 2.5 leveling kit with 35's tires. I do not have gears yet and it is a bit of a dog on performance.

P.S. Dodge Ram 1500 are all built the same ( except for Mega Cab ) as far as components go. Whether it's a Big Horn, or a TRX or Laramie, the axles are the same front and rear, tranny's and drivetrain. The only difference might be different are the shocks on some packages but if your going to lift it don't bother buying the fancy package. Whats important to me are things like Towing package ( comes with tranny cooler, heavy duty battery and high output alternator), skid plates, LSD, tow hooks and if you can get 3.92's from the factory that would be sweet. Just my .02

Although I hate mega cabs, they are the best 1500 for lifting. Ifs isn't too terrible though if it's a daily driver

I like yours arctodus but in general, without mods I'd rather have a neon. I just think they look awkward with those small *** rims and tires and huge long body with a short bed

Megas are pretty awkward looking with the rake. You have to admit. They also look pretty weird in some colors too. But the red always looks good to me.
