mega's are a dressed down 2500 in 1500 form.. or just plain 2500's.. they have solid front axles, which is the single issue I have with half tons- which are IFS..

 

They might be a love/hate truck, I myself fell in love the first time I ever saw one in 06. It was already lifted and looked awesome and its what I went looking for when looking for a new truck. It was actually kind of hard to find. I was recently looking at a gen 4 ram and starting comparing trucks. All the features and the room the Mega offers blows away the regular Rams. I mean when I go camping and my boy can put down his sleeping bag between the back seat and front seat and sleep with plenty of room to roll around, that's awesome, plus the huge axles, gotta love it.

 

Is there a difference between a 1500 mega and a 2500 mega hemi?

 

Only the leaf springs and you can get a Cummins in a 2500 Mega in which case opens up a whole different truck and options.

 

Oh I LOVE lifted mega's. they look awesome. I just don't like stock mega's because they just look weird to me. I think it's just because the stock rake looks more pronounced with the longer wheelbase

 

If I had to do it all over, it would certainly be a CTD over a HEMI

 

Weed that's the only thing missing in your truck after everything you've done to it! Haha
