hard water buildup on handles

Default hard water buildup on handles

so im blacking out my truck and took the chrome stick on's on the handles off and got the adheseive removed with 3m adhesive remover and the black is all stained up white with hard water or calcium any ideas? i tried a magic eraser and clr with barely any results.

There's a product at auto parts stores to "re-black" your black plastic... Might work. If clr didn't work, it's probably not hard water strains.

I'd put that chrome back on. It goes almost unnoticeable, plus I think just the black handles look cheap

Trim and bumper paint will cure that problem pretty quick.

Better idea, paint those chrome covers black it will look more unique

all back to black little more clr and red scotchbrite! i woulda blacked the chrome stickons but they were destroyed in dissasembly lol
