Longer shocks for sure at 3" of lift and Autozone carries blocks up to 4"...

No. I can tell from first hand experience you certainly do NOT need or even want longer shocks if you use just the 3" spindle in the front. The spindle moves the mounting point for the front hub down in order to provide lift. It does not change the distance between the upper shock mount and LCA at all. I used 2" longer shocks on my truck because I planned on installing coil spacers (but never did), and the longer shocks do not absorb the bouncing caused by the coils near as well as they should be. This causes the front of the truck to bounce around like a boat when you hit a bump at speed.

Thanks man. That makes sense. I crawled under the truck and looked at all the front suspension and there is no need for longer shocks. The reason I thought the ball joints angles would be screwed is cause I thought just the taller upper ball joint mount was extended but like you say the hub mounting position is the part that is moved. Seems straight forward but we will see...gonna order them soon. Pics to be put up once installed.

Any ideas on how I can extend the front brake lines? Theres maybe enough room for 1" of drop definitely not 3".

Could I just cut the brake line and find a fitting for each cut end and then splice in an additional length of line and hose clamp down the fittings?

Then bleed them..?

Just buy longer brake lines. My suspension kit came with longer, braided ones but they are available all over the place...
