I'm not sure what the truck came with from the factory. My truck had a frankenstein exhaust on it when I got it last September. I had to replace the entire setup from the cat back due to a rust hole caused by a bad weld. Best bet would be crawl under the truck with a digital caliper or measuring tape to check the diameter.

It is loud and sounds very "angry" when you stomp on it. I will say it isn't too loud in the cab when cruising around (50-65) or when you keep it under 3000rmp accelerating from a dead stop.

I am like you when it comes to no pissing off the neighbors. When I leave for work at 6am I try to keep it under 1500rpm but as soon as I get a 1/4 mile away all bets are off. My parents say that most of the time they don't hear me pulling in when I get back home.

My truck doesn't have MDS, so I'm not sure how it will be for you. I know a fair amount of the guys here with MDS say that the drone is bad when the MDS kicks in, but that is for any brand really. I do know there is a muffler(can't remember the brand tho) designed just for the MDS trucks that cuts the drone down with a spring loaded trap door that closes when the back pressure drops due to the MDS kicking in and shutting cylinders down.
Ive read about that muffler for the mds system in the past. I would like to look into that, if anyone knows who makes it let me know.

Def. look how to please the mds or you wont like it, no one likes a 4 cylinder with pipes. Programmer turns mds off by the way

Here is the muffler that is supposed to help cut the drone.

Can't stress this enough as we all hear differently. What sounds good to me, you may not like. Tons of sound clips on all of the major exhausts.

Cut the resonator off and have a dynomax super turbo muffler installed. A nice rumble but would never **** off the neighbors, and nice and quiet inside for the wifee
