Default 5.7L Hemi Rebuild on 2004 Ram QC 1500

Do you have any advice for a rebuild on a 5.7 Hemi. I dropped two valve seats on cylinders 2 & 8 and cracked the #8 piston. I will be replacing the right side head and having the left side rebuilt and replacing the cracked piston which I have already gotten from the dealer. Not looking to add a lot of power just want to curb future damage since I am going this far. Adding the 6.1L springs, pushrods and cam to the top end. I am installing these new parts as well: Oil pump, timing set, plugs, shorty plug wires, water pump, T-stat, and rear main seal. Fan clutch has recently been replaced. Basically doing a full rebuild. I will be replacing all bottom end rod and main bearings and honing the cylinders so the new compression doesn't bust one of those after all this hard work is done. Is there anything else I should be concerned with on the bottom end.

you should try to post this in the "tech" part of the forum, you might have better luck there. but it sounds like you got your work cut out for you, good luck with it.

Thank you. I posted it in Tech. Just not sure how to remove it from here.
