Are you backing fully off the throttle and then slamming it down? Also, is this the 5.7? How long does the RPMs stay at 1200 after you give it some more gas? Does it feel like its lost power after backing off the throttle and giving it gas?

It is the 5.7..... it stays at 1200 until I let off fully again and press it down again. It just sometimes won't accelerate without sputtering and it's annoying.
