Since I had 2 Thrush Welded mufflers come apart on the inside, I went to a magnaflow (11229) SI/SO 3". Body is 14", total 20". I think it's too loud for me since I have long tubes and no cats.

The 11259 is the same but 18" body and 24" total. Will this be substantially quieter or not really? I'm also not crazy about the poppy sound of a magnaflow so I'm open to other suggestion too. Please don't make me get a flowmaster...but I'll do it if I have too haha.

There is also a bigger one 12589 (22" body) but not sure if that would be too big

 

After some searching, I think I'm going to try the 12589

 

Bigger can = better. (less noise) LOL. Good luck with it.
