Default Tranny Fluid change

So I put my Big Boy UnderRoos on and started changing tranny fluid.Bought it in June of 08..Apparently the previous owners have never done this it still had original filters..
Ok now a question? How do I get the O-ring out of the tubie thingy? I have tried screwdriver knife and a nail...Any help is gratefully appreciated!!

Thanks
Chris

I've been putting it off because I don't really like messing with trannys or brakes...After all the info I found on here I realized it's not as bad as I thought... Buying the fluid is a killer..

Seal puller is the safest way. That aluminum scratches very easily.

Are you trying to unhook the line from the side of the tranny?

A seal puller is like $10 and is really the only way to do it. Not worth a trans replacement from digging into the aluminum with a screw driver. Just buy it and you'll be happy you did.
