Finally got lift installed
A while back I was looking for help on how I should lift my truck. I Finally got everything shipped to me and installed. I used 3" lift blocks and 3" lift spindles (4x2). The total install time with me and the girl friend was maybe 6 hours. Pretty good I thought...
I'm hoping these pics will show up

2006 ram 1500 4x2 8' bed.
A few notes- You do not need new shocks in the front with lift spindles and as far as I can tell the rear stock shocks have enough travel as well.
Plan on extending your front brake lines or at least unbolting the brake line brackets temporarily.
You can see in the pic of the front you will have terrible alignment after. I needed to use one of my CAA tows to get it 20KM down the road to have an alignment done.
The tires on there in the pics are 285/70/17 Goodyear Wrangler MTR's but I just got a set of Kelly Safari TSR's in 315/70/17.
Another note if you have a similar truck!!
The lift spindles will have a different angle to them on the arm your upper ball joint attaches to. This means in order to fit anything over 285 you NEED wheel spacers or aftermarket rims with negative or zero offset.
I ended up getting a set of blacked out eagle USA #027 rims for my new tires.

Lookin' good!
That weird camber thing going on in the front is because of the alignment, right?

Ya it was fixed once I got an alignment. I was surprised how bad it was but when I looked at the spindle lift DIY thread the poster had similar results.
