Throw 5 or 6 sandbags over your axle. That's the cheapest solution to more traction beside's keeping your foot out of it!
If you want more traction to be racing and want to get away cheap...Gotta pay to play my friend.
2500 axle isn't gonna fit in a 1500. Anything to do with the differential is not cheap!

Definitely gotta pay to play. The cheapest solution is to just add and LSD to your rear diff (besides Dirty's solution). The best would be to change out your gear ratio unless you like the 3.55s and then add a LSD. Since you're 2WD you won't be paying as much as the 4x4 guys. Maybe tires too especially if you have the stock tires on there

I didn't think they made 4x4s with 3.55s? Hmm. But yes you can just put in a LSD into the diff but many usually do gears at the same time because 1. shops charge high for labor on diffs so it's cheaper to do both at the same time and 2. It's hard sometimes to find a GOOD shop for our rear ends. You need to try to find someone who has done work on our rear ends before so they don't mess anything up

the 3;55 will work just fine on it ,the only difference in the two is you,ll have more power on take off an get better fuel mileage for what your going to be doing with it with 3;92 gears in it,it would hurt you on top end and speed on the free way but hardly enough to notice, good luck.

Yes you need matching gear ratios in the front and rear diffs
