Default New eyes for the Ram

Picked up a set of new headlights on ebay. For 140 bucks shipped im pretty happy with them. Much better than the stock chrome ones imo. Im now mulling over going to a completely blacked out mesh grille. I wasnt a fan of my chrome one before but now its not too bad with the black headlights. I have no plans of ditching the chrome bumpers.

What do you guys think? Chrome or black mesh?

Personally I dig the chrome billet look, but I would choose black mesh if you were gonna switch. Headlights look sick man.

Thanks Nate. After seeing the grilles you put a link up to im considering this one. No sure if I would go steel mesh or all plastic. Live in PA so wouldnt want the salt to rust the steel mesh.

I am also going to ditch the chrome nerf bars for some black N-fab side steps.

Headlights look AWESOME. I don't like all the extra chrome in the headlight area. How hard was it to replace your headlights? I can't even turn my headlight adjusters; I broke one trying to turn it. Do they somehow lock into place or are they just seized?

I want to crank my front torsion rods a little, but my headlights are a little too high as it is and I cannot adjust them. If I raise my front end, the headlights will get even higher

Headlights were easy. 2 bolts to the Rad support which were a t27 star pattern I believe. 1 bolt accessed through the wheel well. Pull out the rubber plug and its a 10mm nut. Use a 4" extension. Have wd40 ready as mine were rusted. Then use a flat head and rag to pry the housing out gently.

I hated all the extra chrome plus my truck being black was even better. Keeping the chrome bumpers. I don't want to go completely murdered but mostly.

I think for 150 bucks ill probably get the black grille. If I don't like it ill resell it cheap and not be out much money.
