noob here, Names Abraham from San Antonio Texas, i own and love a 2007 Dodge Ram 4.7, i have some simple mods performance wise such as the airram power wire, sonnax transmission line booster, thrush turbo muffler, and stock air box mod with a spectra high flow air filter, soon to come is the installation of my magnaflow Y-pipe (this week) and a superchip, interior i have a fat dvd player and som 8k HIDS on the outside, would like to get to no all of you and would appriciate any helpful tips to help my 4.7 stronger. thanks, see yall around

 

I think you're on the right track with the airbox mod and high-flow filter, Superchips tuner, and exhaust. The only way to get much more is to put in new cams and all of that stuff that goes with it...

welcome, are the 8k hids better than stock, im getting rid of my 30,000k hids the purple is cool just not bright enough

 

8k is night and day over stock. Love mine but are turned down a lot due to scattering from oem housings.


As for op. 4.56 gears.

 

yes pics will be up soon, an yes the 8ks are way better, and the blue tint looks nice with the color of my truck.

i was considering 4.56s awhile back but i have 3.92s now and was told that besides for a better take my over all speed/ drag times wouldnt realy benifit unless i do like 1/8th mile drags, wich i dont.
