Default Funny Flashers

Since my wife hit a mailbox and messed up the passenger side front fender, as well and the Headlamp, my flashers have been funny.

I will select to turn left and the right blinks, so I push left all the way on and it starts to blingk correctly.

Then about 5 or 6 blinks in it switches to the right blinker all by itself.

Think this is just simply a bulb out?

I've had cars were a flashing bulb out makes the whole system work funny, but never flash the wrong direction.

i had the same problem but i didnt crash into anything. if i went to go right, left would work, go right nothing, but if i hit my 4 ways my right one worked. it was weird, all idid was adjust my steering wheel and it "fixed" it. but all the guys told me to get was a little control box under the steering column.
