Default My Truck (w/ Pictures)

Well some people asked me to post some pictures of my truck, so I figured I'd show you all what I am working with.

I'm probably going to use this thread to capture the build progress of my truck over the next few years.

She's a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition w/ 4x4

Modifications that I got WITH the truck are:

5th Wheel Ball Hitch
Magnaflow Catback Dual Exit Exhaust (love the sound)

Here is what she looked like what I first got her.

Size:  86.5 KB

After I installed a Go Rhino Sport Bar

Then after getting a nice new set of KC Highlights Daylighters Lights (100W)

From this point I'm going to likely do the following (not sure about order yet):

* Superchips Tuner w/ Trans Tune
* Double DIN Navigation/Stereo w/ Bluetooth and Sirius radio (while using the OEM Sirius Antenna, if I can work it)
* Upgrade Speakers (if wiring for the dash speakers work I'll likely put some in there too)
* Cold Air Intake
* Rhino Bedliner
* 17" (or maybe stick w/ OEM 20" for now) Truck Wheels (black w/ polished lip) w/ Toyo or Nitto Tires
* Metal Grille (not sure on brand or style yet)
* More Off-Road Lights
* HID Headlights & Fog Lights
* Westin Nerf Bars

And that's all I've considered up to this point, down the line who knows I might just throw in a 2" lift and get a little crazy... lol

If you plan on making use of that hitch, tow mirrors would be handy and look better on a truck IMO.

nice truck, I'd deff get rid of that pinstripe, kinda mismatches the truck being one of the few black things with tons of chrome, other than that i dig the rihno bar, but I'm more partial to roof racks. also i 2nd the tow mirrors

Nope, I've worked on a bunch of older trucks though...

And the heated tow mirrors are wayyy too expensive for my liking, so I'll stick with my standard heated mirrors for now, if I end up buying something to use that hitch for I'll get the mirrors or just the little add-on piece to extend them a little bit, we'll see.

I actually don't have much of a use for the 5th wheel hitch so I'm considering just getting rid of it, but I'm afraid it will leave me with a nice hole in my bed, so I haven't made up my mind on it yet...

I also forgot to note that my truck came with a very nice proportional brake controller installed as well.

As for the Chrome, I am slowly getting rid of it, because I like the Pin Striping, so soon it will be matte black and white... it's my new Panda project.

Although I likes chrome (good chrome, not the cheap sh*t you get nowadays) I never liked it on a white truck. Always liked the "storm trooper" look. So yeah, I'd have to agree, start losing the chrome and keep the pinstripe.

Black grill, wheels, bumpers, side spears and gas door and I think that truck would look kick-azz...

Yeah I saw the pictures of that truck... thing looks badass!

The chrome will get lost over some time... I'd like to save my $ to get a new front and rear Heavy Duty Steel Bumper... Haven't made up my mind on brand but I'll figure it out eventually.

I'm starting small and working my way up, plus gotta pay the truck off first, that's the first priority lol.
