Default Traded 08 for an 05..

Let me start by saying I have wanted a regular cab for quite some time. I originally got my quad cab with intentions of using it on a regular basis. Well that didn't happen...it eventually just became a place to throw junk and things I didn't need to keep in my truck. I loved my 2008 and I drove it off the lot when it had just 43 miles on it. I did a few upgrades to it like CAI, magnaflow exhaust, train horns, you know small stuff. However a couple days ago I came across this 2005 Daytona edition that just called my name as soon as I saw it. So I went to the dealer, looked it over, drove it around a couple times, and here it is now...

Both look very nice! Love the Viper rims on the RCSB.

What did you end up paying, getting back, or was it a straight trade?

I ended up getting $700 for my truck after it was all said and done. Some may argue that I got the short end of the stick...but at the end of the day I was happy with my decision and I am glad I got the truck I've been wanting.

Did the previous owner pull the Daytona stickers off the bed? Kinda hard to tell from the pic.

Yeah they did take them off, but they gave me 2 brand new ones to put on there. Dealer told me he had to repaint the back quarter panel because of some minor stuff.

Not a personal fan of regular cabs but I'm a huge fan of Daytonas. Nice find! And definitely get those stripes back up. Looks like you already got HIDs too which is another bonus.

Thanks man! I am loving this truck, and I already have a 93 tune on it with my DiabloSport predator that I was using on my 2008. I can definitely feel an increase in power from my 08.
