Default Sorry Ram, It was fun

My 2008 Ram Hemi was a great truck. Had some fun modding it and never gave me a problem. I got a great deal on this and so the Ram was traded in. Thanks everyone for all the advice and great comments I got here. I will have some aftermarket items from my Ram for sale soon.

Its a 2013 Ford F150 FX4 Ecoboost. Let the hating begin haha.

No hate from me... Other than the 5' box, the colour and 4wd, I'd drive that truck too ... well maybe a little jab for buying Ford LOL. Nice truck and hope it does the trick for ya.

If I was ever to get a Ford of any kind it would be one with an ecoboost engine in it. Thats the one area of the American market that Ford is dominating. Small engines with turbos making globs of power. The new ATS is a close second. I'm still interested to see how an F150 EcoBoost does offroad though.

Good luck man! My dad has a 2012 4wd (non FX4) and doesn't get anywhere near what Ford claimed for MPG. His computer said lifetime avg. was 14.3mpg! last time is saw it (about a month back.) My HEMI averages around 12.5 if I stay outta the throttle!

Thanks guys. I reset the computer MPG estimator on the ram for the trip to the dealer. 75 miles all highway. 15.8 MPG @65 MPH on cruise. Did same on the Ford for the return trip. 65 MPH on cruise. 17.5 MPG and climbing. Not bad for a truck that had 6 miles on it.

Nice truck!

I like the Ecoboost idea WAY better than cylinder de-activation as a solution for MPGs in a half ton truck. Although I'd still take a good, old-fashioned true V8 over either of them and just give up the couple of MPGs myself...

Hasnt any one looked into the new 2013 ram 1500 with the new v6 in it. Been reading on it. Has better mileage then the ecoboost. And decent towing. with a 8 gear auto..

Looks good on paper. any one else read or see any?

hemi4109 you live in Red Deer and you dont like the idea of having 4x4?
