Help!
I have a 2005 ram with the 4.7l 90k. Im having a problem while pulling out under normal conditions the rpms drop and surge back up. The rpms seem to be anywhere form 500 to 1500. sometimes stalling the truck out in stop and go traffic. This happens mostly while the motor is cold and seems to get better as the truck heats up. Once the truck has shifted out of 1st gear it seems ok.. No Check engine light or pending codes. Have just installed new plugs less than 5k ago. Recent tranny pan drop with fluid and filters. Fuel mileage has dropped considerably, but that could be the ethanol gas. Please share your thoughts , i was considering a throttle body cleaning and new idle control valve. along with TPS.

+1 on the throttle body. Take it off, clean it with gasoline, and wipe out as much as you can from the Intake Manifold as well.
I would also run seafoam through, it's very simply to do.
I ran seafoam and did a throttle body clean on a Grand Prix with a supercharger, it had the same problems you're describing, and it solve the problems.
