Newbie with A Question?
air filter, throttle body, tire pressure, type of fuel, I would avoid champion spark plugs, and make sure to reset your computer for the best accuracy, but based on my calculations, they seem to almost always be precise, even on my 99 it works great.
Don’t rely on the console for MPG its inaccurate. Fill up your tank,,and reset the trip on the instrument cluster,,, drive tell its almost empty,,,fill it up again and see how many gallons it took to fill it and subtract the gallons from the miles you put on..
Thanks for the info guys....I was relying on the overhead console, but will do it the old way on my next fill up.
There is mention of throttle body....are ya'll refering to just cleaning it out?
I regularly do everything else mentioned above....spark plugs, wires, tire pressure, air filter and so on....just curious about the throttle body?

If you have a smartphone with internet, go register for Fuelly
Click the MPG link in my signature for the link.
It's a really nice way to track your MPG and helps you keep track of your gas $$$ :-P
I saw this on your sig line and created one today
I don't think I really want to know how much I spend on gas. I think it's just better this way... :P
