2005 dodge sits higher than most trucks?

Could be. Then again I can't be certain. I just got my 2005 last month from a dealer. Whoever had it before I got it put on 20" rims, 33" tires, it looks leveled to me and has aftermarket Edelbrock shocks.

The stock tire size is roughly 33" for the 20" wheels, so no real upgrade there as far as tire diameter goes.
