Dont those K&Ns have that nut on the bottom of the filter?

for what ever reason when i go to take it off with a socket or wrench the nut rounds off..

TexnOr, if you oil that gasket completely,you should not have any problems getting that filter off.I had that problem happen to me twice,both on vehicles that i purchased that was pre-owned.Two different mechanics told me the same thing,the oil filter gasket was not oiled before the filter was installed.
