Are the hoods the same for the 02-08 with just a different grill or would I have to look for something specifically 06-08? Been wanting to get one of these hoods for a while.

 

Same hood 02-08, just different grille. If you decided to put on an SRT front bumper, then you'd need to find an 06 only.

If you can get the hood cheap just paint it yourself. It's actually super easy especially with the hood off the truck. Having a dual action buffer helps to get the professional gloss, but a lot of the work is just wetsanding that you can do by hand.
