Nice! You relocated the SLT badge to the rear door? Did you find a second one for the other side? Can't wait to see it finished.

I'm pretty sure the early 3rd gens came with the SLT badges on the doors. I know I've seen plenty like that. Now the 4x4 badges I think were added.

Well, I have the Body lift done! That was a lot of work! lol. Getting everything prepared to do the lift was harder than actually putting the lift blocks on...lol

I ordered some 33's GY Wranglers M/T Friday! Should be here on Tuesday or Wednesday. I hate the wait for them! Well, I will put pics up after the Tires are Put on! Hoping I like it!

What are some good shocks that really give a smooth and better ride?

Awesome! Can't wait for pics. As for shocks, just search it out here. There's a million threads on them, including the "what shocks do you have?" thread with hundreds of replies! :P

3" Body Lift with 33" goodyear wranglers with Kevlar.

I cranked the torsion bars a little bit, but didn't go up much, as I didn't want to over-do it. Would it be better to buy the torsion bar key? or What is my best bet? Also, will I need new shocks, if I crank the torsion bar up at all? or just if i go 2"? Because it feels like every little bump is making clunking sounds, and wondering if that is the problem. Thanks!

Lift keys are no different than cranking the stock keys, they BOTH raise the CV angles and put more pressure on the torsion bars. 2" is the accepted limit to not raise the CV angles to a point where they can fail.

Yes, you are probably over-extending the front shocks which is your clunking sound. I have a thread in the FAQ section with different brand/model shocks for certain lift heights. You need only be concerned with the 2" level when considering shocks, the body lift does not alter suspension height...

my signature is a 3'' BL and 35's , farleyrf i like the stance there of your truck ! looks good , as for the torsion crank listen to hammer on that one , if you want a complete level your shocks will be almost maxed extended if that makes sence ,? looks good though as long as there is no rub of tires you will be all good at that stance.

Thanks for your input, guys! I have shocks on the way, thanks to your forum but i also just had a question,. I am not sure if I want to do this yet, but It is definitely something I wanted to look into... I was looking at

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Suspension...6be266&vxp=mtr

and adding that onto the 3" Body lift. Would that work good/ cause any problems? What would I be looking at if I decided to do that? Looking for a little bit more height, while not over doing it! Thanks!

Sure, it's enticing, but Buy a 4" from Rancho or a full 6" from someone else.

I wouldn't go with a cheap lift like that
