Default tailgates created equal?
I have a '05 1500. I'm looking to put a aluminum fifth wheel tailgate on my truck. They're ment for 2500+ just wondered if it'll work for mine.
Not adding a hitch, just need a lighter, louverd tailgate.

The tailgates and most body parts for that matter are the same for the same year rams.

If you want to make the tail gate easier to handle, an EZ Lift and EZ Down will be cheaper.
