Default 2003 Dodge ram 5.9 45rfe tcm upgrade?

2003 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 magnum 4x4 I have been looking through the forumn trying to find if I can do a tcm upgrade like the Dakota's to gain a gear so I can regear my truck lower? I hope this is in the right section. Thanks Guys

You cannot, as this modification is for 45RFE trans and you have a 46RE mounted to your 360.

That's what I kept thinking but evertime I found info online it said the 03 had diffrent trannys.

I found my paperwork from my truck and confirmed your answer thanks. On the other hand ssh are there and upgraded tjat can be done to inprove tje trannys functions.

By 2003 all engines using the RFE were the 545 version. The only other automatics used that year were 46RE (5.9/360) and 48RE (Cummins & V10).
