Default radiator hoses

I have an 03 Ram 1500, 4.7 and auto. It has 85000 miles on it. The engine and components are all original except for O2 sensors and a PCM module.

I have been told by a number of service people not to touch anything that is not broke.

Summer is coming and we travel all over the Northwest, I am concerned about the radiator hoses. Can any one tell me approximately how long they are good for?????

I just keep putting miles on it and it just keeps on running.

I forgot to say that about 70% of the miles are towing my pontoon boat out and back. I don't need to get stuck alongside the hiway with a ruptured radiator hose. But, I don't need to spend dollars that I don't have to either

It should be a relatively easy and inexpensive fix, so given the years and your concern, I would probably change them out. Peace of mind is worth a few bucks, definitely.
