Default My 2005 Ram 1500

I bought my truck new in 2005.

I came home the other day to the pictures following, it was a sad day. But today I brought home a 2013 Dodge Ram 2500. Not happy about having a truck note again, but I got a nice deal on a loaded out truck. I am now researching what A/T tires to put on it and better wheels. I will post pictures of the new truck in the correct forum later.

There are some other pictures linked to my flickr account below. Having a hard time getting the pictures to look right in my photo album here.

I don't really have any pictures of that truck that I know of.

As to what happened we have no clue. The best guess is electrical fire.

I parked the truck some time around 11:30am that morning. We left in my wife's car about 2:50pm to go to a birthday party. We arrived home about 6pm to the fire department in our front yard putting it out. The neighbors called it in at 5:20 and it is guessed to have started some time around 4:30 or so.

I added some pictures of my new truck to my album if you want to see it.

I've never heard of a truck just catching on fire without being on. Hope it wasn't vandalism

I just don't really see vandalism happening. I live out in the country, the keys were in the ignition. They could have just taken the truck, or the fishing equipment out of my boat. I just don't see someone randomly coming up and just starting a fire.

My boss had an 03 ram and it started on fire from the inside. Fire started with electrical problem in the drivers seat it was caught before truck burned to the ground but still enough to total it off.
