You don't have to go to Mopar for a dash....

It's the EPA's fault. It really is. The plastics changed and the supplier Dodge used, used a sub-par plastic. The main problems were starting in 98. Now, many 94-97 trucks had the problem, but there are also plenty that didn't. My sister's 97 is one of them.

If you want a nice dash, go to the northwest. lol

Got it from these guys: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/main?ie...A3A9TU4M8Z5VHK

It still looks great, and the paint they use to match it has not faded, chipped, or rubbed off at all. So far I'm thrilled.

I just had to replace the main part of my dash today. 2 yrs ago, the vent section cracked on me. So I went,on and bought both pieces. Installed the vent section, left the other piece in the plastic in the box in my garage. 2 years, but it finally cracked. Just finished putting it on, letting it dry now.

So glad mine isn't cracked yet. My ex's 02 had so many cracks. Mine has a little bit of fading from what looks like someone using it as a brace while sitting in the bitch seat but that's it. Glad to know theres a good replacement out there just in case.
