magnaflow is a good sounding exhaust, has a deep mellow tone but is a little expensive. on my exhaust it consists of two high flow cats, x pipe and two mufflers, all magnaflow and 2 1/2 inch pipe, 3 inch echo tips, plus spark plug fouler mod. $800 total

That engine is pretty uncommon in this body style, your best bet is to find a 2nd gen ram on youtube with the same motor that sounds good and copy his setup. All it takes is a muffler to make a car or truck sound good, you dont need to redo the whole exhuast system like most people think you do.

Ditto on what dirty dodge said. It's going to be difficult to find a muffler that doesn't make the truck sound really weird.

Even though the V10 is loosely based off the 360, you can't get a V8 rumble out of them. They either sound like a Lambo or a Civic...one of the two. lol

I have an 06 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn. I want to put on a cherry bomb glasspack 3 inch in 3 inch out. I wanted to duel the exhaust back. I'm wondering if I'm going to lose low end torque if I do 3 inch all the way out.

Im running true duals, no y pipe 2.5 inch into two cherry bomb glass packs, 26 in case length, 2x 2.5 pipe is moving more ex than one 3inch pipe.

2 x 3 inch pipe will hurt you in mpg, hp and tq.

If your going with a cat back, stay with 1 3 inch ex pipe.

Also, running ex pipe arround the spare tire adds restriction and increases the cost of the conversion, my pipes run stright out , over the rear the diff..

I love my viper like idle and I would sleep with cherry bombs ..
