Default Whose running 12in or 14in wide wheels

Who all is running 20x12 or wider wheels on their ram. Im currently running 20x9 -12 offset but im wanting more of that wide stance look. I have 35x12.50 tires right now on a 2.5 inch in front and 1.5 in back. Ive heard the wide wheels are hard on the front ends anyone have any problems with that? I either want 20x12 -44offset but I think I might have to go back down to 33x12.50 or 20x10 -25 offset. Post some pics too if you have them

The wider the wheel and/or the further out from the wheel bearing/hub assembly the wheel is located the more stress it puts on the bearings. They will go bad much sooner the further out the wheel/tire sits. My '96 had 16x10 rims with 37" x 13.5" tires on them and set out enough to eliminate rubbing on anything and I had to replace the bearings on both sides within a year. I don't know how long that setup had been in place before I got the truck, but it was obvious to me what caused them to go bad. I first noticed the issue when I noticed the front end of the truck sat with the tires leaning in at the top and out at the bottom. Not a safe condition when driving down the road!!! :0

Yea I wouldn't recommend going that wide or understand why you would need to go that wide

its just that deep lip look and that wide stance look thats in style it seems like. I like it a lot but I dont like it enough to risk wearing out the front end look.

I am running 36x12.5

while the potential may be there, i have never replaced anything due to failure. I have replaced all my front end components due to age and mileage.

cool thanks for the input weed. How much tire do you have sticking out and what offset are you running? If I did do it it would be 20x12 -44offset. do you guys think theres any way to trim enough and still look nice to fit 20x12's and 35's on a 2.5 front and 1.5 rear? Im kinda highly doubting it considering my wheels now rubbed and had to do a little trimming. Anyone wanna trade 35x12.50-20 nitto trail grapplers like new for some 33's lol???

I would love to have a 20x11 -24 offset wheel but it seems they only come in 22x11. Has anyone seen 20x11 wheels? Ill probably just have to end up going with 20x10 -25 offset which idk if its worth justifying getting wheels considering mine are 20x9 -12 offset now. I just want that nice wide stance look.
