3rd Gen Catch Can Opinion on my idea.
So I've read tons about people drilling the valve cover to add a catch can and I got to thinking....Why is everyone trying to reinvent the wheel for the catch can. Why not use the existing PCV location as the vacuum line and move the PCV further away from the engine.
Remove the metal plunger from the PCV so that there is straight passage and reinstall the PCV. Cut the line running from the PCV to the air inlet box and add the catch can then the PCV. I read that the PCV from Vortex 4.3L will work.
I think that would be the easiest mod to add a catch can.
Thoughts?
