So.. on the subject of TCM programming.. Is there anyone whose successfully unlocked.

More gears? From what I know we technically have 8 forward and three reverse. Why can't someone with a starscan and a hankerin for programming come up with a TCM firmware that makes use of the remaining gears?

Because no one wants to bother. I know in the DRBIII there is a setting/mode that requires a PCI card for engineer use.

I'm still dreaming of doing the 5 speed tcm mod.
