Default 35s on a stock 2500hd with stock wheels?

i was wondering if anybody has ran 35 12.5 17s on stock alloy wheels on a 2500 hd?? wider than i want but i want increased diameter..... can't seem to find a 75 series at all in the 265 width. it's an 05 2500 hd, with no lift, or leveling kit. i measured my wheels they are 8" from bead to bead, the tire chart recomends atleast an 8.5" wheel...... i'm sure a half inch won't matter, but i don't want to be hitting the frame either.......... and the only thing in the stickys is for a 1500 truck, nothing on the 2500 or 3500 and i can't find anything by searching.

Bah. Im running 12.5's on 7's. I think.
What's a stock aluminum 99 Dakota wheel?
Anyways, I've got 33x12.5x15 on a no lift Dakota. Im sure you can think of something to get a 35 on a full-size.

I'm sure they will fit, but i'd like to know if somebody else has done it, so i don't go and blow $1,200 on tires to find out i need atleast a 2 inch lift, lol.

i had 265/75r16s on my 03 dakota without a lift. everybody kept asking me where i got the lift kit and how much it was, lol....... no lift, just tires. my alloy wheels were 7.5" if i remember right. not sure about the 15" wheels though as i got one of the lucky years they put 16" on them..... wich i was told only 03 and 04 had 16" wheels.

Oh I do have frame rub. Front of tires when turned. Can't turn fully.
Any plastic that got in the way has been cut out.
One spot on a rear hits at full twist flex but a hammer took care of that.
Stuff nobody sees in the wheel wells.
A three inch body lift sure would help. Lol.
Then offset wheels so I can turn fully again.
I wanted that size. I make them work. Lol.

Had 35x12.5 on a 86 Bronco II with 2" suspension and 3" BL and Bushwhacker cut out flares. Worked real nice.

I have a 1500 but it's a Mega Cab which is a 2500. For a while I had 35's on my stock 17's with no lift. They only rubbed at full turn going into a driveway. Later on a put on a leveling kit and replaced all the rims. No rubbing anymore. They leveling kit only cost me $80 and about 2.5 hours of work in the driveway.

Lol @ talk the wife into letting me.
Just buy the kit. Tell her your a man and you wanted truck parts so you bought them.
Do you drink beer or smoke daily?
Go without for a few days to pay for the kit.
I understand letting her know your buying it.
But having to ask permission.
Tsk tsk. Are you a child? No. Your a man with a truck that wants a lift.

lol........ better to spend the money on things that need to be paid first like insurance or car payments than on something that i don't really need right now, lol...... these tires are next year, and with tax return, and my vacation pay i'm sure i'll get my 2" or 3" lift. working on getting my early rust spots fixed now, so i have a truck to put tires on..... few small bubles above the rear wheels, and some minor chips on the front fenders, and so on.... pretty much gonna be repainting the whole truck. minus hood and tailgate for now. prolly gonna be going with an srt10 hood, and a new tailgate.
