Question Filters

Alright I have a sore subject so no fistfights. Just honest experience and results. On oil filters Wix or Fram? Using regular oil not synthetic. I can get Napa Gold and fram regular.

I use either Wix or factory filters. Toss the Fram.

I know everyone and their brother says Fram sucks, but I have been using Fram filters for the better part of 30 years on multiple vehicles during thast time, synthetic or conventional oil. I have never had a failure of any sorts by using Fram. Just my 2 cents.

My father's a retired mechanic and all he uses are Fram, never had an issue. But I've seen cutaway and I'm sorry, when compared to a Wix or Champion Labs (K &N, Royal Purple, etc.) or Purolator, them Frams look like cheap, Asian crap to me...

Napa filters are Wix filters. Compare the filter numbers. Wix will usually be just one number longer for the filter number, the rest of the number will be the same between the two filters.

Mopar Viper filters. I had oil pressure issues on the 10 when I used a K&N. Mainly because it's the same one they use for the Hemi. JTSVP Recommended Shell Rotella T6 for the V10.
As for the Hemi, I've always used K&N and Royal Purple. Switched to Viper filters and Shell last oil change.
