Has anyone put in a 6.5" in theirs? Sorry, I'm a noob RAM owner.

Man thanks. I knew they existed. Maybe my search terms were wrong.

 

Honestly you can fit any 6.5 in there as long as the magnet isnt too deep. I didnt use a bracket just self tapping screws.

 

I was thinking about that. I'll see what these Infinity 5002ix 5.25" sound like before I go that way.

 

I'll admit I installed my 5.25 rockfords I uh, drilled and used the C clip screw taps as well but some people dont prefer drilling into virgin door panels LOL

 

I don't mind altering the door sheet metal, but the door panels are another matter.




My problem now is that www.onlinecarstereo.com sent me a UPS track on the 29th and today it still says "Created Label" on the UPS site. 2 emails to customer service, drilled them on their feedback survey and called them 2 times and still nobody even acknowledges me. Last time buying from those asshats for sure.

 

Oh I modified both on mine. Installed a set of rockford prime 152-s components in the back. Had to drill for the tweeter in the door panel, but it sounds oh so good.

 

I'll see how my old ears like the stuff I'm getting now before I go the amplifier route.


BTW, I called that website number yesterday, sat on hold for 20 minutes, hung up and called back and got somebody. The guy was like "yeah, I think we sent you the wrong track number. We already sent it out and you should see it in a couple days"


So, I go and check the SAME track number again this morning.

Arrived at depot: April 8th
Shipped: April 9th
Arriving: April 15th...and of day.
