Tuning differences for the different applications comes to mind. What specific differences are you wanting to know?

06 Charger 5.7 has different intake manifold, different oil pan, different front timing cover/accessory drive and if I'm not mistaken a slightly different cam than the truck version. LX version is rated 340/390, truck those years 345/375.

Ok, thats what I was thinking. Would the camshafts for the chargers fit in the rams or is there a size difference with valve springs and push rods.

maybe you can help im not sure if you'll be able to help me but i have an 06 dodge ram mega cab hemi the engine that was in it was the charger engine i tried installing the correct engine from another 06 mega cab but the stock engine mounts it didn't let the engine sit correctly so i put the mounts that were used for the charger engine on the mega cab engine and the oil filter was touching the frame and there's nothing to bolt up to the lower part of the engine to the trans with the metal oil pan vs the aluminum oil pan i had before my trans says 434 RFE any idea what engine would be right for my trans and engine mounts
