4.7 to Hemi Swap
I Know, I know beating a dead horse BUT still cannot find a GOOD answer
I have a 2005 1500 QC with a 4.7. It has been wonderful, but its also got 250,000 miles on her.
My question is if they can make a bolt on swap kit for a Jeep 3.6 to 6.4 HEMI, Why can't it be done on the 4.7 to 5.7 HEMI swap?
I know it has a reprogrammed PCM for the Jeep so the gauges still are the stock ones the Jeep came with. (or is everything swapped out?)
Why not for the 4.7 Ram 1500? The Transmission was in both 4.7 and Hemi models (I'll need a rebuild in for too I'm sure)
I know it would be easier to just do the 4.7 remanufactured route but that Hemi can be built up cheaper in the long run.

It's not that it can't be done, no one has bothered to make a kit for this. No one with the know how and resources has bothered because the demand isn't there and never was. Engine swaps in Jeeps go all the way back to early CJ's lol. You wanna do this you either have to figure it out yourself, talk to someone who's SUCCESSFULLY done it (very few and far between), find a shop that's done it (open up that wallet) or just get one that was built with one.
